Tangles (2026) is an animated film directed by Leah Nelson, adapted from Sarah Leavitt’s graphic novel Tangles: A Story of Alzheimer’s, My Mother, and Me. It chronicles a young woman’s struggle to accept her mother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis while navigating the emotional and physical toll of caregiving.
